I put new rotors, wheel bearings, seals and new pads on my truck today. After finishing up I went to Harbor Freight to buy a couple of buffing bonnets for my oscillating polisher to give my truck its once every couple of years wax job.
There weren't many people in there shopping so I found what I needed and headed to the checkout counter. I'm 3rd in line to pay so I'm waiting... in walks a democrat and goes to the generator section with his buggy. The line moves up and I'm ready to checkout and pay. The democrap has loaded himself up a generator still in the box along with something else in a box and has it in his
buggy, ..... and out he goes. Walks very casually right out the door!!! The little skinny guy and the burly looking gal manager at the registers both yell at him to come back inside and pay. Yeah, right. He keeps right on walking. I drop my stuff at the counter, tell them to call Homewood PO PO and I follow him out to the parking lot yelling at him he needs to stop right there !!! My truck is two parking spots away so I enter the passenger side door and grab my .40. I'm keeping a watch on him as he is on me . I move up towards them keeping vehicles in between them and me. At the far end of the parking spots his driver is waiting for him and he hurls the generator and other box inside the bed of a gray Dodge Ram pickup. I got a partial tag number, they take off and are gone!
I walk back inside and ask the gal did she call the police.? Well, sorta , she says. Sorta? What does that mean I asked her? Now get this, she called corporate loss prevention who is not even in this state!!!!! She told me corporate instructed employees not to go outside the building in cases like this.
She says this happens 3 to 4 times a week there.
So if any of y'all ever need anything and just don't feel like paying for it, y'all now know where you can go 👍

We were in Academy in Mobile one night and this woman (with 2 kids under the age of 4 with her) was filling up a HUGE duffel bag with women's clothes. I caught the attention of the woman working the dressing room and told her to look. She called someone else over, told them to go get a manager while she watches the woman. Manager comes over, the dressing room woman shows him the woman stuffing the bag with clothes, and he says OK and walks off. We get ready to leave and the manager was up front talking to someone about fantasy football. I asked him why nothing was done, police called, etc? He said he called his "loss prevention" department and gave them a report.

Just another sign of the times we are living in. 30 or 40 years ago that kind of thing only happened in a few neighborhoods across the country without others getting involved. But then, most people and businesses would defend their own property too.

These days the good samaritan will likely go to jail if things turn real and they injure or kill a perpetrator. If Harbor Freight and other box stores don't care about being ripped off I don't guess I should bother to risk my own well being over a couple hundred dollars worth of merchandise.

That's good to know where they stand so now I know to simply stand out of the way.

Bullshitt. If they were stealing from me, I'd handle that shitt myself. I'm not getting involved in a theft from a store when the stores don't care themselves. Damn sure not gonna pull my pistol unless its them or me and in this case it was them and them.

Same at Lowe’s and Home Depot they are not allowed to confront thieves. Corporate policy. You can walk out with what ever you want they won’t say a word.

The retailers build the price of “shrink” into their pricing so you are paying for the Democrats stolen merch.

1. Always carry. A gun in the truck isn’t helping you inside a store.

2. Never pull a gun unless you intend to use it. If you wind up shooting somebody for walking out of a store with a generator you will most likely find yourself in a lot worse situation than the thief.

Or do...I would possibly enjoy the episode. smile

We cannot carry anything very expensive or it gets stolen. We learned this early on.

I was in lowes about a month ago looking at the Dewalt tools. I got to talking to one of their associates. He said a Democrat walked in grabbed a cart walked over to the dewalt tools an filled the cart. Walked over to the end cap that has all the Dewalt phone chargers and accessories and put everything on the cart. Walked out to a waiting car at the front door. Said the manager said it is Lowes policy to not confront but call the Police. By the time they got there he was gone. He said amazingly 2 days later the same guy came back and filled up again and again got away. If I’d walked out with 1 impact, i would have been body slammed at the door..
