Many years ago Hornady came out with their light mag line. My son has a Rem 700 in 7’08 that absolutely loved the 139gr SPs. In his gun, they were consistently a good bit under 1/2 MOA. They were also right on the verge of being too hot for it as about every 5th shot would cause a sticky bolt. He kilt a lot of deer with em.


Killed a pile of grown uns with Hornady 139 Light Mag out of an A-Bolt II 7-08. And they'd shoot under 1" @ 100 yards , even with a low power scope with heavy duplex. I still have 2-3 boxes of them . smile

That Superformance stuff they sell now is sissy ammo compared to the old Light Mag stuff.
