What is your most accurate factory load? Take away all other factors, gun maker, caliber, etc. What manufacturer and bullet type have you had the best luck with? Everybody says they have a gun that would shoot anything you put down the pipe. What loads performed best for you, no matter the gun. Talking accuracy only.

Federal Blue Box and Federal Fusion are two of the most consistent factory loads that I’ve tried regardless of caliber

Federal fusions in the 308, Grendel, 6.8spc and .223. Blue box 170s in my dad’s old 30-30 is outstanding. 130gr. corelokt in my 270. 115gr Winchester BTs in the 25wssm. 180gr Winchester soft points in the 350 Legend. The old Winchester silver tips in the 7mag BLR. And finally anything I put in the AR 7.62x39 shoots way better then I can shoot it.

When the Hornady American Whitetail first came out some odd years ago, I bought a box of 150s for the .308 just to have. Strangely enough they were loaded in .308 Match brass (not that it made the difference), but they shot just as good if not better than my pet load for the gun. Cloverleafs. The Leverevolution isn't too bad in the Marlin 336 .35 Rem either. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/nrNNgFTs/8-AC2-A4-F0-6-B49-40-CC-B18-A-355-D2-FF1-CE7-C.jpg)

The original Hornady Custom ammo in a BTSP in any caliber, any gun. Why they discontinued that line and went to the new American Whitetail crap, I will never know.

Norma by a mile. I had a Ruger Bull bbl 220 Swift built by Richard Garrison, 20X Lyman scope. Norma factory ammo...five shots measure 1/2" at 200 yards!!! One very small ragged hole.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

^^^ Heard good things in Norma - never tried yet though Now's the time. It's readily available in most popular calibers, and cheap.

For low-mid price hunting ammo, I’ve always seen good results with plain brown box Hornady Custom in the middle bullet weight for that caliber. i.e. 30-06 165gr BTSP, etc. Seems like they load the BTSP in their middle weight per caliber. If I haven’t got a gun to shoot pretty well with that load, it didn’t end up being an accurate rifle.
