You need to start hydrating as soon as you get out of bed or you're playing catchup all day. My son is in the hvac biz and that's the way he does it. Attics on days like these are brutal

I don’t know what you eat for breakfast, I don’t like a whole lot of grease early. Or pancake syrup. I’m a firm believer that it can make a difference if you eat some fruit for breakfast, or on break, and throughout the drinking process. Natural electrolytes. Love me some watermelon

Liquid I.V give it a try, little pricey but helps keep you hydrated along with the water.

I fortunately don’t sweat bad but back when I was racing I would loose about ten or so pounds in one night of racing. The pedialite and water helped me hydrate for racing. Now in the lawncare business I’ll just drink water all day but by 4-5 I’m over water and start drinking beer.

I don’t believe in the long sleeve shirt idea. Tried it many times, but it makes it hotter and it gets heavy. Won’t make that mistake anymore. I cut off the sleeves of regular t-shirts. The soaking wet shirt gets airflow from the cutoff sleeves to help the cooling affect. And it’s less weight on you. That’s what works for me better than anything. And yes, my arms are cut up with briars all the time, just used to it.

Bio-lite is the best I’ve found, followed by liquid Iv then body armor. Gatorade and power aid are some of the worst. But you still have to keep the plain ol water flowing also

I used to jump in the river or the pool after a long hard day. That did seem to help Working with the athletic teams in the summer months, we use totes filled with ice water-simpy an "ice bath". It is like the end of the world when you are getting in as your body seems to lose touch with reality. After a couple of minutes, you are numb to the cold and start to tolerate it. I promise this is the only thing I have ever done that helped me recover and start right back where I left off at. I realize most wont have access to something like this, but it works.

I've lost around #10 this summer due to humidity & sweating. I only drink water at work & tea at home. I've had to take potassium tablets at night due to cramping. Just part of getting old im told.

Biolyte or Pedialyte are go to’s for the rugby team I play with when we go to summer 7’s tournaments. Drink one full one of those before you get in the heat and maintain with water throughout the day. It will keep us relatively hydrated through 4-6 matches in the day. Pickle juice also is a solid addition if cramping might become an issue.

That Biolyte works, but it taste like drinking sea water. I prefer the Pedialyte advanced, but dang it's expensive.

Do you get cramps too? I get awful leg cramps when I work outside in the summer. I buy gatorade mix, and then mix it pretty strong. But I still get cramps, and even take potassium tablets and it doesn't help much.

I drink Biolyte it works full of electrolytes, It aint no fruity Gatorade you want to be sipping on. Slam it some water and move on.

I'm wet down to my socks right now. Its humdiddity in prattville today. I drink pedialyte when get home. A quarter to half a jug keeps me goin. Sometimes itll take a whole jug. I drink cool water that's been in the back seat of the truck. I drink powerade like that sometimes too. Not often though. I'm in it all day all summer. It gets ruff sometimes but I love it.
