Me and this one finally agree on something. For me there is exactly 0 benefit in getting the experimental "vaccine". There is however some risk, although at this point nobody knows how much, in getting the experimental "vaccine".. If i knew i would get the covid again next month, having had a personal experience with it already, i would not get the vaccine. Ive been through it, for me it wasnt that bad. This risk/benefit ratio is a genius idea. This is exactly what every human should do when considering the vaccine. It is what me and pcoladoc did, it worked for us.

Point is, in addition to what I feel is being in pretty good shape for my age, I get a full physical and full blood work-up done every year to make sure my cholesterol, BP, PSA and all the other numbers are staying right where they should be. That said, what are your thoughts about the heart inflammation and myocarditis issues, they are seeing in increasing numbers in healthy vaccinated adults (admittedly most seem to be younger and male). It's issues like that that worry me when comparing that along with/to the efficacy/value of the vaccines. Originally, the vaccines were touted as vaccines against Covid. A vaccine such as the polio, and all the other common vaccines we've all taken, actually keep you from getting the virus. Well now it's been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, that these vaccines dont keep you from actually getting the virus, and because of that, the messaging has had to be re-packaged. Now we are being told that it might help in keeping you from getting the virus but it does supposedly keep you from having a bad case. Well if that is the case, why are there statistically significant numbers of vaccinated adults being admitted into hospitals in increasing numbers? Especially in Europe where their nationwide vaccination rates are higher than ours. For the younger adults, I do worry about birth defects, infertility, and issues such as those and others that normally do not or may not show up for years after taking the vaccine, hence the normal long timeframe for full FDA approval of a vaccine. These things as well as other long term health issues will not show up in a 6 month clinical trial. I'm pretty well read on the virus, vaccines and treatments, my wife is in healthcare, and three of my running buddies are surgeons and physicians. All this microchip and mark of the beast stuff chatter is nothing but pure BS. My question is how long will the vaccine work to lessen the severity? Nobody even knows. Six months, a year, two years, since we are now seeing vaccinated individuals being hospitalized maybe not at all if you are a certain blood type or have a specific issue? All the issues above, as well as all the potential unknowns due to lack of formal long term studies, are those that worry me most about taking the vaccine. My doc currently recommends me not get it, given my current age and health status, especially since he thinks that I may have had covid back in early-March 2020 before all the testing really got started. Anyway, I'd like to hear yours and the other doctors on here's thoughts on the potential heart issues just now starting to be reported in increasing numbers following vaccination as well as the increasing number of hospital admissions of vaccinated individuals.

I will continue to research and watch developments and keep an open mind, but right now, I cannot personally justify taking the jab. If it truly did fully vaccinate you long term against getting the virus, then I'd probably do it but right now, but all the evidence is proving that it most certainly does not. Like I said, I am in no way anti-vax and everyone should make their own assessments as to whether they need to get it or not based on their personal health, risk and age status. Our medical professionals should also be making sure that all of the information related to the issues mentioned above (and I formally commend you for openly listing several of them your reply) is readily available, instead of them having to dig all over the web to find out. Nobody is really talking about the issues mentioned above and you will not find them unless you are actively searching and know exactly what to look for. We are definitely in very very strange times, and uncharted waters. Look forward to yours and others replies.

I've asked pcoladoc about this multiple times in the past couple weeks, based on the dire warnings I've seen from Baylor's Dr Peter Mccollough. Pcola said that Dr. Mcollough advocates for high risk individuals to get the vaccine. I posted a link where Dr.Mcollough warned that NO ONE should be taking these vaccines and that 1000s have died as a result of these vaccines. I asked him to post links to back up his claims but he never answered. I'm interested in his response because Dr Mcollough is widely respected and is not an anti vaxxer conspiracy theorist. Dr.Mcollough also claims that the last RNA vaccine that they put through trails killed all 200 test animals and never made it to market. I remember looking up the studies he cited and finding supporting evidence. Dr. Mccollough is a highly credentialed expert in his field and his views on the vaccine are in direct contrast to Pcola. So, I'm really interested to know if Pcola thinks Mccollough is as ignorant and backwards as he says the rest of us that question the safety of these vaccines, are?

In the world we live in it would be ridiculous to think that not a single politician or gov official is getting a kick back in some form or fashion from getting people vaccinated. There are roughly 333M U.S. citizens who are all eligible for a vaccine that the gov is paying for. Nope not a chance of a kick back being paid for the opportunity to participate in that.

What good is a vaccine if the person receiving the shot can still get the virus? If it makes them feel so safe to be vaccinated then why are they so scared of an unvaccinated person? Why should someone be forced to take a vaccine that does not work and not that much human case work has had time to develop? Same with masks.

Like I pointed out in an earlier reply, my best analogy is a seat belt. Just because you’ve heard of people getting hurt in a car wreck or dying while wearing one, it’s still common knowledge that it’s best practice to wear one. It either keeps you from getting badly injured (most of the time) or at least keeps you from dying (most of the time). The currently available vaccine is the best-effort they could come up with under a time crunch, and it at least keeps you from dying or minimizes severe consequences. Yeah you shouldn’t be forced into taking it, but it’s probably in your own best interest if you’re overweight/medical conditions/old. They ought not to make any laws mandating I wear a seatbelt, but I wear one anyway because I think it’s the best thing to do. Perhaps not a perfect analogy, but the lack of 100% effectiveness (and the fact that people I politically disagree with are pushing it) are not in and of themselves reason to avoid taking it.

Prob piss some folks off here but oh well.. Reckon How many of these anti covid Vaxxers are smoking a pack of cigs / can of snuff or chew each day? All knowing that crap causes cancer but they are against a vaccine because they are concerned about long term effects ? How about the long term effects from tobacco use ? For the record I’m not getting the vax either

What is an antivaxxer? Pretty sure 99.9% of the people you are talking about have had every vaccine you have had. Just saying. No, i dont smoke.

The media machine and the government are doing a great job of pitting the folks who got the vaccine, the folks who were forced to get the vaccine, vs the folks who do not want to get the vaccine. They are creating another social bitch session which will affect elections and business. That is what is really going on here.

No better example than right here on Aldeer. Generally like minded people having very opposing views on the vaxxing question.

So the uptick in Covid cases from the delta variant is real. The NEJM on July 21 published data that vaccinated individuals with 2 doses of moderna or Pfizer have 88% protection against the virus. The delta variant is much more contagious than the original alpha variant and thus will spread through communities and have a higher burn rate because of this. Vaccinated people potentially can get the delta variant yes, but their course of illness is likely to be less severe.

I’ve seen several people in their 30’s die from Covid. Granted all were either hypertensive, diabetics, obese or had renal disease. I’ve also seen several in their 30’s and 40’s without known comorbidties wind up in the hospital for periods of time due to Covid. It’s a real disease guys, don’t know how else to tell y’all. Back in March of 2020 I saw and intubated the first known Covid patient in west Alabama. Yes age, obesity, htn, diabetes, cancer, esrd are all risk factors with Covid. But I’m 40, have no health issues, have had the vaccine and I personally don’t want Covid.
