I just got a text from a friend who has a niece who is an RN at a hospital in one of Alabama's larger cities. The young nurse sent out this text to her family members, and then it was forwarded to me. I don't think there is any political motive behind her writing it; just genuine concern for her family.

I had the vax months ago, don't wear a mask unless a Dr office requires it, and generally don't pay much attention to covid news. I usually skim the General forum here once or twice a day, but I quit reading the covid threads. I don't have any agenda in posting this; just thought some of you might find it interesting, as I did. I got permission from my friend to post it as long as I left out the city and the names. We have been lied to so much that it's hard to know if anything is believable, but I think this info is legit. May the Lord help us all.

Coming clean about what the hell it is and who started it would go a long ways as a start. Hard to know what to believe if anything there has been so many lies told.

Sounds familiar. Ill still pass. Im prepared to suffer the consequences for my decisions. I have a neighbor who has a daughter who works at one of the hospitals in bham. She is one of the people who decides who to put on the vent. She told him 96% of all the covid patients who went on the vent died. I asked him "so why do they keep putting them on the vent?" My guess os hospital protocol, your blood oxygen gets to a certain level, they put you on the vent. Nevermind 96% of them die. I know of atleast 3 or 4 people who refused the vent. They are all still alive. They had a rough go of it but they made it. I dont know the girl who wrote this. Im sure shes a fine young lady. I pray the Lord takes me quickly and my life is never in the hands of a doctor or hospital protocol.

We have 61 hospitalized patients. Supposedly 87% of them are unvaccinated. Could be a made up number. I work with it every day, so I had my shots. My children will not be taking the shot.

Me and my wife go to church with a nurse and have boy at work who's wife is a nurse and both say cases are 50/50 vax and no vax so who you believe

Early on it was thought many died from being placed on a vent too early. What gets me is the use of ECMOs as I understand it, to bypass lungs that are so stressed. NAMC and other hospitals here seem to send extremely sick patients to Pensacola for some reason.

I lay all this at the feet of the MSM, they used to be for the people, now they’re against us.

I wonder how many patients who chose not to take the vaccine are being shamed about it by those supposed to be taking care of them? They wouldnt do that right? Alot of shaming gone on the past year and a half. I dont wear a mask so i hate my neighbors. They go to work every day, just like they always have but now they are "heros".i have not been overly impressed with our healthcare professionals lately. God bless the ones who really do care and do their job every day and really try to help people.

I heard from a college buddy who is an MD at a large university. I won't name the University or the department, but nearly the entire department has covid and they were all vax'd in Dec/Jan.

Woodduck, i dont know you and i didnt mean anything derogatory toward you. Ive had some bad experiences and its caused me to feel some things. If youre one of the good ones, i pray the Lord blesses you real good for your efforts.

Me and the wife are currently dealing with covid. I’m so tired of hearing “are you vaccinated? OMG! You’re not vaxed?!?!” Gave one dr the go to hell look as he asked so then he went off on how dirty the look was

Guys. I am in health care. Covid is real. The numbers are shooting up. No reason not to take the vaccination if you are over 30. Do what you want. Your life. People do not turn down the vent. You either go on the vent or you die. Yes, most people who go on the vent do die. One of my best friends went in the vent and ECMO and almost didn’t make it. Only by the grace of God is he alive today. I would encourage everyone to look into the vaccine. BTW. One of the hospitals in the state had 5 Covid patients 2 weeks ago. A week ago they had 24. As of today they have 49. I cannot explain this massive increase of cases but it is real.

She’s got to be the unluckiest nurse in Bama and I certainly wouldn’t want to be under her care or the care of those around her. According to the most recent data I can find which iwas supposedly updated 3 hrs ago, To date there have been Grand total of 11,462 deaths in AL from Covid and this one lady claims to have personally witnessed over 200 herself? So to put this story in perspective, this one nurse has personally seen over 2% of all the deaths in th entire state of Alabama. If she works in Jefferson county that means she’s seen 15% of all deaths in the county, Mobile county 25% of all deaths, Madison County 40% of all deaths, Tuscaloosa 50%, and if she works in Shelby, she’s seen 100% of all the deaths to date in the county from Covid. See where this is going? These %s are based on the total numbers of deaths, by County, from Covid as of the updated numbers 3 hrs ago. I’d take this information/story with a grain of salt.

That said, it’s a very serious virus. If you feel you’re in danger And comfortable with it, get the vax. If you feel you’re not or don’t trust the vax, don’t get it, it’s your choice. Covid has not gotten any deadlier now than it was a year ago, in fact, early indications are that the delta variant is not nearly as deadly as the original. It’s a personal choice. I’m just tired of all the BS and fear mongering. It’s here, it kills people, it’s something we will be dealing with for years to come, just like other viruses that can kill you.

More patients...more money to be had. Such bulshiiit.
