Birmingham is turning into the same thing. I went to watch Ron White at the Alabama Theatre one night. They were checking people for guns going in. They missed mine!! I laughed when I was in line and a bunch of the guys were complaining about it.
Didn't say anything when I bought tickets about no guns allowed. So you have to park somewhere in a parking deck and then walk down there, with no gun? No thanks.

There’s a website called hey jackass that keeps up with Chicago shootings. It’s pretty good entertainment. Shows you how many shootings are taking place along with murders. Where they were shot in the body and even race. They have a shot clock every weekend. The website usually updates once or twice daily. It’s worth a look.

Out of the 2,000 shootings (or whatever the number was) over the 4th of July weekend there will not be a single report of what race, gang affiliation, drug deal, stealing or anything else that actually says where the problem starts and stops!!
