Neither Friday night guy - Kumar or Bednar will be ready before game 3. Leiter threw 123 pitches last outing; Christian threw 35 and should be in a better position than Leiter as long as MacLeod can make it through the order the first time without getting rocked. The Sunday guys for both teams have been less than spectacular so game 2 is probably a toss up. If it goes to game 3 probably gonna go to whichever bullpen can get it done after Rocker and Bednar give it their best shots. Game 1 is the key; State needs to steal it to have the best chance to take the series.

I'm a Vanderbilt grad but my son goes to State, so I kinda, sort of hope State wins since they haven't one yet and Vanderbilt already has a couple of trophies.
