Yea - NC St look real good - they whipped Arky at Arky then just held Vandy scoreless tonite and 2 hit them - first time Vandy shut out since 2019
I was hoping M state and Vandy would be in final - maybe Ms St will make it - May be playing NC St if they do make it

That was my 6th time going. Very nice stadium out there. I still like the Softball WS better. Those girls dont mess around game moves a lot faster.

I’ve never understood the logic of throwing in a pinch hitter late in the game when losing where the guy is batting 0.195 with a homer and a few RBIs.
Of course I type this and he gets a hit.

Never have seen better pitching at the college level. Agreed. Everyone is throwing their top guys right now and they are all very impressive. Guys still pumping it in there at 94/95 with a pitch counts over 100. I cannot remember who it was but one guy was sitting at around 120 pitches and he finished his last batter in the 8th with a 96 mph 2 seam fastball on the outside corner. Beyond impressive. Give it another couple games and you'll see who has the bullpen depth which is the key (that and staying in the winner's bracket) with the way the tourney is structured. Depth is especially critical on the loser's bracket side of things.

MSU is in a good position with good bullpen depth, but dammit their hitters are streaky.

Yea Foldem - I was poor mouthing the #8 hitter last night cause none of them had hit all game and his average was worse than most every bodies except # 9 guy and he sent 2 run blast over wall - that was wild 8th inning last nite
