A lot of WMA's are also Corp of Engineer or TVA land. They are usually leased to the state for $1.00 a year, but the ACOE or TVA can pull that lease whenever they choose for whatever project they have to work on. Most COE land is open to public hunting anyway even if it is not inside the wma program.
