I’ve had a 93’ pre-Tacoma
A 97’ Tacoma
Now I have a 05’ Tacoma and have to say I enjoy this 4.0 better than the others
Had this truck 16 years and 265k miles and it been a great truck

I’ve had a 82, 85, 87 ,93, 98, and 2009. All were trucks. I couldn’t kill em. My favorite one was the 98 single cab.

I had a 1980 4x4 pick up with the 22R and 4 speed. I've had a 1990 4Runner with a 22r and 5 speed. And I've had a 2017 and 2019 Tacoma 4x4, crew cab with the 3.5 V6 and automatic transmission. The 2019 was by far my favorite. It would pull a trailer pretty good, it handled really well off-road and it also drove pretty good on the highway. They were just too small for 2 kids in car seats

Currently have an 08 double cab 4X4 long bed with the 4.0 and 262,000 miles. I bought it with 148,000 miles and the only thing I've did so far is front wheel bearings. My son has an 09 just like it cept it's a regular bed. We both really like what we have.

1985, last year of the straight axle! This is the only picture I can find right now. 4 linked rear end, 38.5"s, 5.71 gears, and built 22r. Had a lot of fun in it. Spent too much money! 😁

Name checks out.

I noticed that AND doing donuts in the yard speaks volumes. Probably rolled it because it had that Carolina squat.

I’ve had several over the years, Tacoma’s and Tundra’s but I think my favorite one to drive was the 2003 4Runner when they put that V8 in it. I had a silver on gray Sport and that thing was blast to drive. Handled well and plenty of power. At the time longest I’d kept a vehicle, it made to til 2008 when traded it for my 1st Tundra.

Finally deported myself from the peoples republik of Kaliforkistan.
