Pawn shops/small gun shops seem to have decent inventories on new guns. Used are hit and miss.

Village jewelry and pawn got 6 in stock - 2 browning - 3 savage and one franci
Those all new - prob got some used
Got lot of guns from them over the years - my super BE2 was Best Buy there than any store across the south - they in Butler Alabama - Shane good guy to deal with

I also called Dunn’s in Tville - I stopped him when he named 2 - and they real small store
I called Woods and water of T-town - I stopped them after he named off 3
Stanford sporting goods I bet has them - bet place in Jay FL has them - U can also goggle all those places and call and ask
Feel sure Walter Craig in Montgomery has them - only 3 spots I Called had 270s

Gulf Coast Guns in Milton, FL has the best inventory of guns and ammunition I have seen, You can most likely get a .270 and .270 ammunition there. I would call them and ask.

Hey 270 - in one of my original post to you I mentioned several sporting good stores - I looked at map - the only store I mentioned in FL ain’t that far from you. Jays sporting goods in Jay FL - they use to hav lot of stuff and deals - fixing to look them up again - I ain’t been there in 20 years - think that was name - it was 45 minutes or so north of cantonment - you turned off hyway 29

If your in south Alabama I'd call McCoy's outdoors in Marianna, Fl. They usually have a good selection of hunting rifles.

Call first - they use to be pretty great to deal with It's in Jay, FL, and the name of it is Scott's Outdoors. Has a sister store in Pensacola, Mike's Gun Shop. Mike Scott actually sold Mike's in Pensacola a while back, but maintains a "sister store" relationship with them. Jay's only a stone's throw from Pollard, but you have to go around the world through either Flomaton/Century, or through Brewton to get there.

Thanks HunterBuck - good info. The one in Jay gave me a good deal on a Zeiss several years back - one of my buddies had got a real good deal on a high dollar scope there before that and he put me on them

Thanks HunterBuck - good info. The one in Jay gave me a good deal on a Zeiss several years back - one of my buddies had got a real good deal on a high dollar scope there before that and he put me on them  Mike runs great deals all the time. Coin toss on the help you get in there...some of the folks there are great, some are flat out peckerheads. If Mike's there, you will be taken care of.
