Well I really don’t how to start this but I had to make the most difficult decision I have ever had to make in my life last night. At 8:25 PM , Thursday June 3rd 2021, while laying my head on my 31 year old sons chest I heard him take his last breath after requesting to have him taken off of life support. It has really been a very difficult last 3 days for me with today being the worst. My son is no longer dealing with his pain. I’m not sure how I’m gonna get through this but I have to find a way. My whole life I spent protecting my 3 boys while raising them as a single parent. I know that the pain while one subside and then I’ll have his memories but my GOD I want him back. The whole time I spent raising my sons I would never eat until my sons had their plates first. My boys mean the world to me. I haven’t ate since Tuesday and I know that I can’t keep up this pace but I cannot find the strength to eat knowing that he will never take another bite. Sorry for the long read and I know that some of you have been through this as well…Thanks
