Squadron that dog looks very healthy compared to the ones I’ve caught
He must’ve been eating good
Congrats on the catch and kill

No, just a regular dirt hole set with some soul taker, cavens feline fix, and bobcat urine

Both of the last 2 were Tom's. The first one I got was a female. This one was a very pretty cat. Probably the prettiest I've ever seen around here. I'll try to post a better picture my wife took. My lens on my phone is busted

I've got all 3 within a 2 acre spot on 190 acres. Hopefully I see more turkeys next year.

Pulled all traps this morning
Was a good season on predator management
Totals were
18 coyotes
18 coons
7 pigs
2 bobcats

Keep up the good work guys

Nice work Deadeye

I want to start back when I can for 3-5 weeks

Do u use the same baits for coyote in the summer ? I never trapped coyote in summer - I May sweat too much to do it - May hav to wait till October (don’t want to sweat on my set)

During the summer months bait will draw ants
If I trap during the summer I just use a lure and sheep’s wool

Congrats to all! Deadeye: How many traps were you setting out? Just curious. I have had anywhere from 2-6 out in my limited time of trapping this season for dirt hole sets. And up to same number of dog-proof traps. Rain and limited days hurt me this year.
Thought about getting and setting more but until I have more time, just haven't done it yet.
