Yes I've hunted Mass, VT, NY , Maine and NH and have killed a lot of birds there, in every state.
All have what Id call really good to great turkey hunting.
Southern Maine has some really good turkey hunting and a lot of public land to hunt. NH has great turkey hunting, especially the southern area from just north of Concord and across the state from that line. Again a lot of land and you used to be able to hunt any unposted land. It was easy to get permission there as well as Maine for private too.
Massachusetts has a lot of birds too and we killed them on public land there as well as a small private piece we got permission for.
You should do well in any of those states. Dont be afraid to knock on doors to ask there either. Good luck!
