Looking for a medium-heavy duty 5 or 6 foot finishing mower in decent shape. Willing to travel a good distance for right rig if you can load onto my trailer. What y'all got?

Unfortunately that one takes about 45-75 PTO HP to run and the little tractor I want to run the mower on has about 40-42 pto hp. It’s a stout mower for sure, but just a little bigger than I am looking for.

If weather permits, I'll check mine when I get home this evening and see what size it is (it was my dad's and I rarely use it)

I use a 90" mower behind a 40hp cab tractor with the AC blaring and a hydro trans. Not sure what my PTO hp is but its a good bit more than the belt on the mower can stand.

That woods I’ve got you can pull with that tractor. As long as your not trying to cut stuff that needs to be bushhogged your tractor should do fine just cutting grass

Its an old Ford 3000 with a pretty weak lift too, so I’m looking for something smaller. I’ve got a bigger tractor that would pull it just fine, but that tractor is used for other things. Besides that I’ve got the wifey trained on the old Ford so she can mow. smile

I have a Bushhog RDTH 84. It might be a little bigger then you are looking for but if you are just cutting grass 40hp is more then enough.

Rain finally allowed me to go check...mine is a Bush Hog EFM600. Been used sparingly the past few years, mainly to cut the grass at my grandfathers 2 houses when my lawnmower was out of commission.

Unfortunately that one requires a minimum of 5 feet between inside of rear wheels and mine is set up at 44 inches. I think a 6 footer is going to be perfect, but they are hard to find. I may have to settle for a 5 footer, but I’m going to keep looking for that elusive 6 footer for now. Thanks for the offer.

If I don’t find a 6 footer I may get with you later. Thanks!
