Great area for turkeys. not so much for deer. Have never hunted this particular club but I hear more bad than good

The search function is your friend. If it is, it’d be the first time the search function was useful around here. LOL apparently there’s a code you have to use to get relevant results to any search.

Used the Search function above and searched for "Ragan", then looked at the bottom of three threads returned. Took 2 minutes.

I was in it for one year YEARS ago. It sucked!! Did not see a single deer on the place. Eagan and his buddies shot everything that moved. He would park his truck on a high ridge in a cutover, throw rocks in the bottoms, and shoot whatever jumped up. Pulled up to the camp one day and he had two with visible spots hanging. Saw several instances of members back then smoking weed. They also had a guy that died in a camper fire a year or two after I got out. I left and hunted Southeastern HC across the road. A world of difference. Killed several nice bucks from there and a pile of turkeys. Stay away from Back Waters!!

I killed the biggest buck of my life on that club, and was the only deer I saw all year.
