Certified welder for almost 20 years. I like to weld right to left making a backwards cursive “e” for lack of a better description. When you finish, after the last “e”, you make a backwards cursive “o” filling in from the outside of it towards the middle. Takes about two loops to fill it in.
Thats the exact pattern i used and did right to left, backwards o and everything but still got crater lol. Maybe i need to step back faster
