I'll agree on the loss of habitat highly contributing to the problem. Uncle & I have a 1650 acre turkey lease in clark county that has been very good Turkey woods for many years. Landowner scalped (600acres) the place this past summer. Have only heard 2 birds gobble this season on the neighboring property.
