My scope with CDS has a duplex reticle. The problem with the CDS dial unless they changed it is that the one that comes with the gun is generic which is fine but there’s no zero stop. The custom Dial stops at zero but you have to shoot it through a chronograph and all that fun stuff but it’s accurate. I’m not a long range shooter, don’t forget to post a picture when he shoots his deer
Count the turns from zero then a zero stop isn't needed.easy fix works great on any scope regardless of turret.
So basically zero your rifle then count revolutions till bottom out of turret.that way you'll always know you how to return to zero.you can dial distance with a basic finger adjustable non resettable turret $200 scope by placing a sticker on top of turret and marking a mark every 3 moa on a sticker attached to your turret after you've zeroed.little secret not to many people know about that will get most cartridges to around 1000yrds without a big high dollar turret scope.
