Not trying to scam or get rich. Just don’t need it anymore. Like I said if the price is out of line make an offer. I was thinking .19 cents per round is about what it’s going for. Have not bought any in a long time

And the buyer pays the 3%? I see Skinny giving someone am orange name soon. Against the rules for me to critique your price but I have no problem pointing out how you have a new account and then want to use this site to sell... but made a special point of saying you refuse to pay the 3%.

I have no comment on the pricing of your item. That is your business, not mine. But I will say that you are wrong in stating that the buyer pays the 3%. The buyer is not using Aldeer Classifieds to sell HIS product, you are using it to sell YOUR product. Now, if a buyer offers to pay the 3% or offers to help pay a part of the 3% then that is okay. He offered. But it is YOUR responsibility as the seller of the item to pay the 3% because you are the one getting the benefit of selling your item through the Aldeer Classifieds. Hope you don't get yellar paint in your eyes.

While I do believe that it's initially on the seller to pay the 3%, if it's negotiated up front that the buyer pays, I don't really see the problem here.
The main thing is that it gets paid.
It is on any prospective buyer to re-negotiate the terms of any deal here.
To be honest, Skinny should probably just charge a set rate for posting items for sale in the classifieds. That would make sure the site gets paid for every listing, and would cut out all the "oh, well it sold on another site" issue. That's just my opinion, though.

Rule #2 - If you sell something, a 3% donation to Aldeer would be nice. Its 3% of the total sale or $100 whichever is less. Donations to Aldeer via secure CC transaction by clicking the Donate to Aldeer button at the top right of the screen.
I have sold lots of stuff on Aldeer.
I have never asked a buyer one single time to pay the 3%.
I have always paid it and by the rules understood that it is my responsibility to do so.
Just this past week I sold a rifle to a member here and he offered to give me some cash on the 3%. I accepted his offer to help and I made up the difference between what he gave me and what I owed.
I would have paid the whole 3% had he not offered and would have gladly done so because it is my RESPONSIBILITY as the SELLER.
But unless it is negotiated in the deal, or an offer is made to help pay it, then the responsibility is with the seller, not the buyer.

There is nothing specific at all in that quote about WHO pays the 3%. It's all part of the negotiation process. It just needs to be paid.

I agree with you that it just needs to be paid but I disagree with you about the specifics in Skinny's rule. "You" and "sell" are the keywords here. A buyer in a transaction doesn't "sell". A "seller" does. So, if you "sell" something here, meaning the "seller", then "you" owe Aldeer 3%. Just the way I see it and the way I'll carry on doing it until someone shows me that my sentence interpretation skills weren't taught to me correctly in elementary school.
