Can anyone tell me what is causing my Moultrie d-40 to be blank in the window.You turn on the power and the little squares come up faintly but you can tell the difference when you turn the power off.The status light blinks but no words show up.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your display has gone bad. Time for a trip back to Moultrie.

will keep checking on the answers my buddy put out the same model last week in working condition only to check it sunday with the same results

This is a fairly common problem with Moultries. I recently returned on of mine that did that and they fixed it for free. Took about a month, but it was good as new when I got it back.

Bought the camera second handed.Does anyone know if Moultrie will fix it and me pay for the repairs. And if so what steps do I take to do this.Thank you to all who replied to try to help me with this problem.

I have the same camera and mine is taking alot of pictures that are black.Any ideas?

Sounds like the display is out. We had one with that problem. Moultree sent us a new display to use as a replacement.

I sent 2 back to moultrie that got flooded in a swamp after all the rain we got back in september. They repaired them at no cost.

academy sports have leaf river for 169 i dont no why there so low but they are great
