Had one at 20 steps that started in one spot behind a cluster of trees strutting and gobbling like crazy and then...he putted and took off like a pheasant. Juuuuuust about shot him out of the air . It's comical at this point... Hate that for you. He must’ve smelled you. Try some hen in heat next time That's the only logical explanation. Congrats to you killers.
