Probably a long shot, but I lost one of mine yesterday. I would be glad to pay good money. Thanks

Yup, fits the FF3 and Vortex Venom. Nice covers for a few bucks.

And the OEM one will allow you to view the dot and shoot with the protective shroud still on the sight. I wish Vortex would make one like that for the Venom.

I lost mine opening day last year Backtracked my steps and found it. This weekend I took it off at the truck and stuck it in my pocket in case it rained. Put it back on when i got back to the truck. Those things will fall off in a heart beat.

Usaully once I sit down on a bird, then it may stay on all day, I have forgot about it and had to turn it off after I’d been home several hours

Activated mine Saturday when a bird was less than 20 yards away and I realized I hadn’t turned it on. I don’t recommend that but killed him anyway.

I threw my cover in a box the day I install the sight 3 years ago and haven't seen it since. Am I missing a reason that I should be using it? I am fairly rough on my gun but it has yet to be off so I cant see why protection would be an issue.

hunted 2 days with a red dot and I turned it on when I sat down. turn it off walking around. I guess I'm paranoid about the battery running down even though it says it will last for hundreds of hours. Mully, I've heard some folks saying they can scratch the lens on these things so I guess that's why folks keep the cover on.

I scratched the emiiter lens installing the mounting screws. oops
And no I didn't have my readers on the first attempt. Couldn't figure out why I had two red dots?
Called Burris and Customer Service knew right away what happened. Sent it back, they returned a brand new in time for season.

Great Customer Service.

You can order the neoprene covers 2 for 18-20 dollars off of eBay or Amazon.

Cover stays on mine until I get ready to setup or am moving in position to setup. I don’t turn mine on until I get ready to shoot or I know that the gobbler is close. I treat the red dot like my safety.
