Its a PIA, needs a lot of fertilizer, not very drought resistant, bugs love it, fungus is a problem every year. Zoysia would be a better choice. You also need to understand going into this, whatever you use is going to look good at first then decline for a period of time and depending on how you take care of it, over time it will come back and look better. The reason I say that, the sod you buy is going to come from a sod farm, and on that sod farm there is something they do not have, that is trees = shade. The sod you get will have been grown in full sun conditions, it is going to shock and decline for a while. As long as you understand that and take care of it appropriately it will look fine long term.
