I know it's turkey season now because I just jumped six deer. No gobbles yet.

Beautiful morning, Had to sit this morning out and it’s killing me. Have 15 yards of concrete going down at the house and still a few loose ends to tie up.

The only reason I hunt ducks is to watch the dogs work.

That's me every year. I promise I seen 30 deer this past weekend. Good luck fellas. Looking forward to some vacation time next week. This work during March and April is cutting in to my time in the woods.

My oldest got his second this morning. Great hunt, dead at 7:40. Turkey been gobbling good around here - but I’m afraid we are about to get some bad mornings for listening the rest of the week.

Took oldest son today. Heard one on limb at 617. Gobbled 12-15x. Set up. Made one series of yelps and he never answered. An hour later he was on ground but also heard a hen. I got into a little argument with her and called her up to 30 yards but he wasn’t with her. Don’t know where he went. We tried to strike another one but no luck. He was only one we heard. At Waffle House now bout to destroy an All Star breakfast.

A few more yelps and one cutting series and they were on the way. 32 yards 410 tss 9.5’s. 101/8 beard 7/8 spurs weighed 21.0 lbs. glad I didn’t give up. Good luck fellas
