Congrats to your buddy

Mine was done before I got 200 yards to where I needed to get - he had hens - but after not hearing nothing yesterday - thankful I heard one - don’t usually call to one much in tree but he was so far cross line I gobbled at him few times just to see how he would respond - he cut me off - figured pissing him off r having him fly down my way was my only chance - hen cranked up after that and all went silent with gob and hens after that 😀 - came back to check later - still silent

My nephew almost got a shot. Used a decoy hoping it would help. I believe the thing scared him. He done a 180 when he saw it and left.

Got to call one in this morning for my dad. First bird he has killed in a little over 15 years. He lost interest after a few tough years, but I think he gained it back all this morning.

went to wma to youth hunt. Very quiet this morning. We did get 2 birds to gobble 3 or 4 times. I could see them with binoculars and they didn't pay attention to my calling at all. We tried to head them off but could only get close enough to watch them go out the other point.

Wind was blowing and made it pretty chilly.

Was late getting to the forest this morning and first spot I stopped to listen one hammered. We moved the truck and went towards him never to be heard again. Heard one tearing it up a mile up the holler on private.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Congrats on the kills fellas. The first two days for me did not pan out. No gobbles heard. Very strange, I know I was near turkeys. Usually at least hear one.
