Amazing hunt, I first heard him Gobble at 6:30. From then until he died he gobbled his head off. I only called one time and that’s all it took just a couple of clucks. He flew down on the road that I was sitting on about 75 yards from me. He was around the bend so I could not see him until he got to about 35. As soon as he got close enough he took off running straight at me and I couldn’t get him to stop until he was about 6 yards from me. He was so close the first shot I whiffed but the second shot put him down. Roughly 10 inch beard and 1 inch spurs.
