If you make $75,000a year and $1,200 will make you or break you , you ain't doing something right.
I agree and it certainly will not make or break me but you've got to take a step back and look at the fact that the $1200 that I'm not going to get, in our current Biden times, would buy one of the following selections: a full tank of gas in my truck, a couple good ribeyes, two sheets of plywood, 4-5 2x6's, or if it was available, a full box of bullets for my deer rifle that got lost in that boating accident. $1200 dont go as far as it used to for sure. Unfortunately, I think what we are currently seeing price wise is just the tip of the iceberg. It should be based on your avg federal tax liability for the past 3 yrs. The more you had to pay, the more you get. If you didnt pay anything in, you dont get anything. Otherwise, it is just pure socialism and a redistribution of wealth which is in direct contradiction to everything this country was founded on. Taking from the "makers" and giving to the "takers". I see , so people like me would not get a dime. So you know , I have paid my share of taxes since I was 16 and until 2 years ago . I'm 61 now No , you should be complaining about the tax rate. Not against the help some people really need I'm not trying to sound callous or be rude in anyway but answer these questions and think about what I'm writing. So were you in any way impacted by Covid? If you were retired and not working, you certainly didnt get laid off or incur any additional expenses related to having employees or running a business, correct? Did the amount of your retirement that you draw every month or the amount of your SS check change? If it didnt, and you didnt incur any additional expenses, why should you get anything extra? Sure it may help you, but you're not owed a dime by the federal govt. Nobody is. Not you, not me, not anyone else. That attitude right there is why we have Joe Biden as president and a democratic senate and house. While I'm sure you probably didnt, millions of people voted for this bunch of socialists expressly because they promised them free money. Hell, I cant find enough people willing to work. They are making more sitting at home collecting the "juiced up" extended and increased Covid unemployment, than they would make working. "nah, man, I cant work right now, I'm making $800 a week to stay at home and watch TV, hunt and fish, why would I want to go to work for you to make $1,000 a week busting my butt and swinging a hammer". You see, therein lies the real problem with all this stimulus crap. "When the voting public realizes that they can vote to give themselves a raise...our constitutional republic is over" We've reached that point. I don't draw a check I live on my savings have been for going on three years My med bills come out of my pocket. If I did draw a check it is money I put in . Been many a year my total deduction was over $8,000 so I've paid my share and so have a lot of other people . I understand there are some that don't deserve the money , but that is what it is. Like this, they wanna hand out money you better believe my hand is going out . After all part of that money was mine But ,,,, if I was making $75,000 a year missing out on $3,200 would not be that big a deal to me. Nothing I could about it any way.
