You need to look into Starlink:
Elon Musk is going to change the game for rural America internet.

Yep, this is going to blow up the entire Internet/cable world!. I signed up for Starlinks emails about 6 months ago. I received a email from them this week I can become a part of their Beta test. It is expensive now on the front end but will go down once they get the system built out. The impressive thing with Starlink is it has better download speeds and latency than wired internet although it is Satellite. No matter where you live, you can access Starlink and get Hulu, YouTube TV or any other Internet based cable and you have the best of both worlds. Direct TV and Dish has to be shaking in their boots, their days are numbered.

I was a Directv customer for 13 years. Called to cancel and was told I was under a two year contract. I told them how long I had their service and there had to be a mistake. Turns out, the main receiver box had gone out and needed replaced a few months earlier. They replaced it and it automatically signed me up for a one year contract, that I didn’t know about. Then, a month after that, I had a new roof put on the house and they came out to remount/aim the satellite. Automatically signed me up for another year, totaling two years. After going round and round with them, and getting no where, I told them to provide me with a signature showing where I authorized and agreed to a contract. They couldn’t and ended up “letting” me out of it. Good thing because I had my heels dug in on it.

Called them, talked till I almost ran out of breath.

No help from them at all.

Cancelled and signed up with Dish with locked in rate of $84.00 per month for 2 years.

Now, I get phone calls and promo letters in mail from Direct T.V wanting my business and are offering me rates comparable to Dish.

Just wow!

Didn't want to help out a 20+ year loyal customer until I left and now they won't leave me alone.

Yeah we do this every two years they won't send you new remotes or anything it's best just to switch back and forth every two yesrs.saves alot of money

They stopped calling me. I would give them an absolute verbal lashing everytime they tried to get me to re-up and I guess they gave up. Dish is no better. They'll start raping you soon enough.

I can't remember the last time I turned on the TV.
