I have always been able to call in and negotiate with Direct Tv in years past when discounts expired. I have gone from 69 to 150 over the last year and AT&T won’t budge. I only have satellite tv and it’s my understanding that your not under contract anymore? What’s everybody else paying with them? I have super fast internet thru the coop and thinking of going with them on TV service.

I cancelled their asses over a year ago because they quit negotiating with me. I went with youtube tv and am 100% glad to of made the move. If you have super fast internet, go with Youtube Tv. You can also use it on the go with whatever cell phone or tablet you may have.

Call and Cancel DirectTv is my advice.

Yes. You enter what ever zip code you live in and get all the local channels. Along with all of the ESPN's, Fox Sports, SEC Network, BigTen and ACC network. I haven't missed a single ball game since switching...and have probably been able to keep up even better because I can log onto it from any cell phone or computer, too.

This is what I did ... The only thing is I hate YouTube/YouTubeTV is owned by Google.
Whadda ya gonna do though??
Most all streaming services are owned by someone one who's politics I do not support

Gonna get flamed Gundoc, these folks on here don't like anyone that deals with anyone from the left including if they donated to BLM, Biden, etc. I'm with you, I use youtube TV too, it sure beats the price of dish. It is a little more of a pain, but not the pain of paying over $100 for cable.

We switched from Direct tv to cable internet and YouTube TV. One year later You Tube TV service went up from $45 to $69/month. What are you gonna do? Alternatives are slim to none. This is the only active social media account I have and I rarely post here. I guess we could turn it all off and play cards.........

TV and Phone service both suck. Going to straight talk and fixing to cancel direct TV. I went from 69.00 to now 107.00. They raised my bill 10.00 just because

AT&T absolutely ruined Direct TV.......we were in the same boat. Had DTV for several years, always called when the promo expired and all you had to do was ask and they'd reinstate it. Once AT&T took over, that went out the window. I called and said "I like your service, but I'm not willing to pay $x.xx for it. If you'll give me the promo again, I'll stay with it, otherwise I'll have to cancel and go to Youtube TV for $65/month." The lady I was talking to literally said "Okay, hold on a moment.........................................Okay, I have cancelled your account".

Check out dish with the flex package. Not sure what all you want far as channels. It’s no contract and our bill is around $65 a month. Now that is 1 receiver, no dvr, no sports channels, no local. We use an antenna for local channels. You can get all these just have to add certain packages. I like the antenna better for local because the dish goes out every time it storms.

I'm in the same boat , my sweetheart deal is about to expire with them. Only reason I have them is TV at the cabin. What's my options if I tell them to hit the road? Dish?

"Why do you ask"?

Y'all got way too much time on your hands. My "Introductory" Rate expired 3.5 years ago. I knew what the bill was going to be when it did. The have held up their end of the deal by only going up to where they told me it would. Mine runs about $150/month if I don't order any movies. I'm good with that. I can't negotiate with the Power Company

A shiny antenna...or maybe one that isn't shiny.

Pluto is free. Locast is free (if you can get it). antenna is free following purchase. Espn is the only tricky part, but with sling and the added sports package you are still under $30.

Pluto is great because you get all the conservative news channels and some outdoor ones too...and it is free.
