Go to a shop that has several different brands and then shoot them all and then decide. I just purchased the Hoyt Maxxis and it is super sweet. But, don't ever think you can't buy a good used bow. I traded my AlphaMax for my Maxxis. Lots of 1 year old great bows out there. Call around and see what is on the shelf.
