Hey Guys,
Taking my son for his first high school team event Saturday on Jordan. I’ve only fished it a few times. Any experience appreciated. I’m a Tennessee river guy. Thanks!

My daughter fishing it too. I won’t be captaining this time. So I don’t have much advice. Heard it’s been tough lately. Good Luck to y’all.

The only reason I hunt ducks is to watch the dogs work.

Jordan will be a mix of mostly spotted bass with some largemouth. I haven't fished it since Nov. when my son had a HS tourney there. My advice is to catch a limit of spots then hunt some largemouth. There are some big spots in there as well if you land on them. Check main river points and points in the bigger creeks near the main lake for spots. I'm heavy on soft plastics (shakeyhead worm), just works for me all year. Good luck.

Won down there 3 weeks ago with 14 something. Shallow jerkbait or dt 6 early will get some bites. Always some big girls shallow in the afternoon on sunny days

Buddy of mine who had the 19 last weekend there has already had some calls from a dad offering up to $1500 for him to captain their kids team. Which is the reason I hate highschool fishing. He told them to pound sand thankfully

I'd go to the dam get on the left side of the current and throw a crankbait
We will burn that bridge when we get there

We are not allowed to hire a guide on a lake within 30 days of a tournament and our boat captains and anglers are registered in the fall prior to the spring tournaments starting. We do have alternate captains if needed and they are also registered in the fall. Wouldn't buy a "win" for my child. If he can't win it on his own he doesn't deserve the W. David
