Guys, I’ve most likely killed all the deer I’m gonna kill this season. Wasn’t able to connect on a doe, so hopefully one of y’all can kill an extra one for me (since they changed the rules on the does this year). I know I’ll get to hunt on 2/10, but there’s a good chance I won’t be back out before then. Just FYI on that. Hope y’all are able to finish strong this year.

I can prob kill another doe. We've got enough to go around. I went to a friends place in Sumpter Co. and passed a beautiful 3.5yo 11pt but hope to get on a decent buck in Baldwin county before the season ends. Looks like SJ just got a serious upgrade. Congrats!

Where do we stand on bucks? I know claims and SJ are wearing them out and I’m slacking but I hope to fix that over the next couple weeks. Rut is threatening to kick off down here soon.

Good job Reptar!  I’m off tomorrow, so I’m gonna go spend a day in the woods at Skyline on their last gun hunt weekend (my club has a two buck limit, so I’m done there). From all I’ve read, the rut is probably over at Skyline, but it’s the only place I’ve really got to go, so I’m giving it a try. Y’all wish me luck, cause I’m certain I’ll need it!!!

I didn’t see anything that even resembled a deer on Skyline. I’ve got one hunt left... it’ll be either 2/8 or 2/10. Looking forward to it. Wemo, Fireman... come on fella’s, pull a rabbit out of your hats and kill some bucks! I looked at the points (can’t say I understand the points rules this season), and we’re in 2nd place right now. We need y’all two to kill some bucks! Hit ‘em with your trucks if you have to!!!  I’ll say this much, if we don’t win this season it’s been a real pleasure to be on the team with y’all! We were definitely good matches, in that we all love to hunt these crazy animals. Sure am glad that God allowed those two to get on the Ark with Noah!

Guys I’m likely done. Looking at the points I think we would need more than WEMO’s 6 and a doe to over take the team we trail. For those of you still hunting good luck! They’ll be hard pressed to find a better group than ours. 2 firsts and a second place will be hard to top.

Today’s my last day to hunt this season. It’s been a good one, and God has blessed me way more than I deserve. Kept me safe too. I have no complaints, and I’m thankful for all I’ve got to see and do this season. And I’ve got a buck at the taxidermist to boot! Who can argue with that?!!? Maybe I’ll catch a worn down straggler moving by. Maybe not. It’s been fun.

Hunted both days this weekend. Saw lots of deer and some nice young bucks just nothing to shoot at. Had a great season and had alot of fun.
I think we have 5 more points than accounted for in the totals he posted back in January so it may be closer than expected when it comes down to final numbers.
