4th different shooting house I’ve sat in the last 3 days . Go home in the am . I’ve killed several out of this one and a pair of bobcats 2 years ago . Down a logging road to a sage patch on top of a hill surrounded by pines . Don’t know why the deer like this spot so much but they pass through here headed to the field. Need another for the freezer . If it’s brown it’s down this afternoon .

I'm on private property and hear two voices coming my way. Got down from my climber and asked them who they were? Called the landowner and he says he knows them and "he probably gave them permission sometime" he says. I think I'm done here.

Got back from my track call and piddled around the house for a bit and I'm in the shooting house on a greenfield in the cutover. Things have kinda wound down around here since last Saturday I don't know if it's the moon the weather or the rut or combination of a lil of all of it
