my FIL has a 4 seater Canam Defender....had it for a few years now and it's been a good one. Don't know that he's had any issues out of it
EDIT: I think it's actually technically a 6 seater b/c it's 2 bench seats.
My friend was leaning toward the can am but he added many if the extras to his with aftermarket parts. His opinion was that the ranger just had so many more aftermarket products. My FIL has a roof, windshield, winch, radio, and more lighting than Bryant Denny Stadium. Only think I could see someone possibly wanting is a full cab kit and I'm sure one exists for them. My guess was it had more to do with cost of aftermarket stuff.
