When I overnight in selma , I just stay up on 14 with the rest of the rif raf. Luckily I haven't had to lately.

In 2004 i was in police academy in Selma. When we were finally able to leave base at night we went there for a lil night club they had. We also went to a place on the river I cannot remember its name, There was absolutely little entertainment in Selma for 12 weeks. I did graduate the academy with the guy who is the chief there now. we were roommates. He was strictly business.

Kind of off topic, but I’ve been listening to a podcast called White Lies, the murder of Jim Reeb. He was the minister murederd in Selma 3 days after Bloody Sunday. Lots of history about Selma I didn’t know. This is a decent one until towards the end. Gets very liberal and they all start apologizing for what their ancestors did.
