I have the exact same gun but in left hand I bought in 1978. Still my go to rifle for power lines and green fields. It’s very accurate and the action is super smooth. Funny, I have the same marks on the butt plate. Mine are from the climber foot platform hitting it when I would climb down. I used to slide it through the seat before I started using a pull rope.
That would make somebody a fine rifle they can pass down to their kids. GLWS.
