It’s a company issued truck. Have no idea but doubt it

I think all of them have issues. I have a 2011 F150. I love the truck. But back in November the check engine light came on and it didnt want to go in reverse. Towed it to dealership. Said it was some transmission wiring that cost me 950.00. Then I discovered the same year, make , model, engine and transmission was recalled for this same thing. But mine was made in April and the ones recalled were made in August. That's the typical BS you have to deal with. I did file a complaint with Safercar.gov. I about to buy my wife a new used SUV this week or next and I'm going with a KIA or Toyota.

Ain't always greener. Transmission on my dodge 2500 started to randomly go into limp mode after towing after extended warranty expired. 105k miles, extended warranty ran out at 100k. Needed a new valve body and mopar had stopped making them due to covid and had no idea when they would get anymore. Still would drive around town fine, just couldn't tow. Traded that joker in without hesitation and got a hell of a deal. Got notice the other day that that truck is still floating around trying to be repaired, and I traded it back in September.

Depending on what side of the spectrum you sit on, you may view this as an upgrade or a disappointing downgrade. Bid farewell to the infamous 5.7L V-8 that churned out 380-horsepower and 401-pound feet of torque, which was ahead of its time in 2008, but falls short today.

Now, say hello to a V-6 only powertrain lineup. Although it hasn’t been confirmed by Toyota, we expect higher-end variants of the 2022 Tundra to have the 3.4L 416-hp, the current powerhouse of the Lexus LS500, which has been said to be a “legit V-8 replacement.”

I would have looked at Tundras before I got my F150 which has already had its share of problems, but the Tundra styling just doesn't do it for me. Wish they would improve the looks and I would consider one. Tired of the GM and Ford quality gremlins.

The wife’s 17 yukon is in the shop now. 107k transmission is gone. Lucked out and got an extended warranty through car shield a few months back. Saves me a ton of money but that company is pure crap too.

Yep....my parents are trying to buy a new SUV to replace the '08 tahoe they currently have because they've been having to spend quite a bit of money on it recently, and I honestly don't know what to tell them to buy. They want something 2-3 yrs old with 30-50k miles but don't want to spend $50k....it also needs to be big enough for 6 people to ride relatively comfortably.

They don't really want an Expedition b/c of the ecoboost engine....They were leaning toward a newer Tahoe but they have known transmission issues....they both hate the look of the Sequoia's and the Land Cruisers are high as giraffe balls....If Ford would just offer the Expedition with the 5.0 and the 6spd transmission, it'd be case closed, but noooooo....

I have owned a 1997,1999,2001,and 2005 chevy Z71, no issues with these, was in the truck market last summer, and glad I decided on the Tundra!! Found a 2016 model TRD Limited Crewmax 4WD, only had 21,000 miles on it, got it for $36k Love the truck!! And don't mind the 13-14mpg RIGHT NOW, pulling a load, when you turn on the Tow Haul, that thing comes alive

I just can’t buy a Tundra. It’s the ugliest truck on the road. Not to mention they guzzle gas.

My wife has a 16 suburban with 103k miles on it,never had any issues so far,I’ve got an 18 z71 with 40k miles on it,hers is almost paid for so if it drops the transmission I’ll probably just spend 4K to replace it and drive it another year or two and then sell it,if my truck holds out that long I’ll do the same with it
