Managed to drop this little 8 yesterday morning. It was the 11th deer of the day we saw. The shot was about 80 yards, down a fairly steep embankment. Impact was at the right shoulder crease about 1/2 way up the body. The shot was a complete pass through and broke the offside shoulder. He mule kicked at impact and ran, dragging his right leg. He crashed within 50 yards. The round was a 129 ABLR with a muzzle velocity of about 2240, launched from a 12" Faxon barrel. Great day.
