Y’all seen all the coaches being hired away? I get the moves to be a HC or pro but why make a lateral move? Kinda strange. But it happens every year.

More money is a good motivator, plus Tuscaloosa is not really a great place to live.

They may know they won’t move up fast enough with Saban. He’s going to bring in the best, if they aren’t the best, they get left behind. See Scott Cock-A-Roach going to Georgia. Next group coming in to coach them up. It would be nice to not have an outgoing coach take coaches with him...

I bet Saban makes you work your ass off and demands top results. They want to get away from the A-hole and do it "their way".

Translation: Slack off and be mediocre.

Do you think Auburn is any better? They have EAGLS. East Alabama Gay and Lesbian Society.

Off subject again, seem where that word cost Justin Thomas a sponsor.

I had to google who Justin Thomas is, he obviously stepped in it. But if you google that word, you’ll find several interesting things. The Gay community uses that word to describe themselves. Its OK for a Gay say that word but lord help anyone else use it... The word actually refers to a “bundle of wood” Back when being gay was illegal, A “faggot” was used to burn a gay at the stake. Hence the term Faggot. Its amazing what you can find n the internet.

. That is a valid point. I enjoyed Tuscaloosa for my 5 years, stayed an extra year working before moving on to other cities. This was back in the 80's, but I never had any trouble.

Same here. I was there from 79 to 85. I enjoyed living there to the fullest. The deer hunting was great going NE to the yacht club and the cliff's. We paid $4 for a permit to hunt on Holman Lumber Company property. A lot of great memories indeed. Now, I couldn't tell you didley. I haven't been back since 88-89 after the 1st expansion of Denny Bryant.

The price of success.
1. He is very demanding and not a people person, shall we say. One of the trainers there that I know tells me that you had better be at work when he gets there and better not leave until after he does. That goes for all his staff. The people person comes in to play in regards to the reaming he will dish out for not meeting his expectations. Now I'm also told by another friend that was the Police Chief of Northport that he can be very nice and warm when he chooses to be on rare occasions. He has the amazing ability to use a personality that fits the situation better than most people. This is why he is such a good recruiter.
2.People work for him to learn how he does it with no expectations of staying long term.
3. Schools would love to have the next Saban so it is easy for them to move on for more money in nicer places to live than Tuscaloosa.
4. If they can't find another job somewhere after being tutored by him, there is a problem with them.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
