I have a capless gas tank. I tried to put some gas from a can and the nozzle would not go in. I pushed with my finger and the little piece would not open. Works fine at the gas pump. What is the problem with this.

Lift your back seat on drivers side and there should be a plastic adapter to bypass the anti-siphon valve in the neck of the gas tank

My GMC is capless. I've got about 3- gallon of non-ethanol I had for the mowers I'm going to put in it. I bet I have the same issue.

If you are looking for the adapter/funnel in the Chevrolet they put it in the glove box. GMC is probably the same

10 GA hull opens it easily too. I figured that out cause I was using the hull to cover the spout on an old gas can.
