Like it so far, glass is clear, scope is compact and light but have the typical Leupold issues I've had in the past. Next, Leupold's standard duplex is fine for range work but is a bit too thin for low light. I know you can get the heavy duplex which is great for low light but sucks for range work. I wish their duplex reticle was a bit thicker like Swaro, Zeiss, Meopta etc. At $400 I'd recommend a VX-3i.........or better yet, I'd take BCLC's recommendation and get a used Conquest. I've got a 1/2 dozen of em and have never had a complaint.


Actually, thanks to everyone thinking they are snipers who have to shoot everything a mile away,- when they probably couldn't hit a bull in the ass at 10 paces, Leupold has discontinued the heavy duplex as a reticle option.
I'm not sure if you can send a scope in to them and have installed by the custom shop though.
