Is the savage axis any good? Topped with a really good glass? Ive got a savage axis youth in 223 with a bushnell elite on it that is very accurate.

go buy a new Ruger American in 6.5. inexpensive and very accurate Good advice. I bet Larry's has one. Basspro has them for ~$400, in a few different calibers.

go buy a new Ruger American in 6.5. inexpensive and very accurate Good advice. I bet Larry's has one. Basspro has them for ~$400, in a few different calibers. I just happened by Larry's off 565 after lunch today. Multiple rugers available at good prices. Had 3 Ruger 6.5 PRC rifles for sale, several 6.5 Gheymoor guns and a sweet little model 7 stainless steel with fiberglass stock in 308. I was tempted...
