Recently moved down to the gulf coast for work and looking for a shop to do tuning work, etc. Anyone have any recommendations down in the Daphne/Foley area?
Don't mind driving a little bit if it means having the right person work on it.
My old bow-shop was up in Ohio (originally from Alabama, but work took me up there). Those guys really knew their stuff, but that's probably because bowhunting is about all they let you do up there.
Thanks in advance!

Bowhunter pro shop in Saraland. Scott and Brandon are good folks and know their stuff. I'll second sw1002's recommendation. Worth the drive from the Eastern Shore.

If you're in Daphne, there's one just over in Robertsdale on 59.

World Champion Outdoors on hwy 31 just south of Atmore is a good bow shop. Tom Boatwright is the owner and he really knows his stuff. They also have an indoor and outdoor archery range.

I shoot a Mathews Z7 (old, I know, but it's still a better bow that I am an archer). Most of the places I've been have spent more time trying to get me into a newer setup for $1500-$2000 instead of tuning mine. I know there's more money in selling new bows than tuning old ones, but I'm looking for someone who won't try to upsell me when there isn't a need. Makes me wonder about the quality of work when that kind of stuff happens.

I will look into World Champion Outdoors. Sounds like the kind of place I'm looking for.
Probably won't go back into the place in Robertsdale.

Tom is one of the finest people you'll ever meet. He's help me and my family more than I could ever repay him. He really knows his stuff when it comes to shooting and the outdoors. He's won the Buckmasters world championship once and the Total Outdoorsman championship twice. You just don't do that without knowing what you're doing. When you go by there tell him Scott Fletcher sent you.

I will vouch for Tom Boatwright knowing his stuff on bows and being one of the best guys You will meet in general. I have known him all my life and he is about as good as they get.
