Lol, if ya gonna make the statement you should explain why... I’ll tell ya straight up that if I can get a good deal on ammo I’m getting it. Jackassrs here selling $12 a box ammo for $32 a box. I think they gonna lose some customers for sure
They are against the 2nd Amendment.
There have been multiple threads about this subject on Aldeer.
If they were TRULY anti 2nd amendment they’d pull all weapons and ammo from their stores today. It’s called Field & Stream for a reason. Gonna be hard to have a sporting goods store for hunting and fishing without guns and ammo.
It's called Field & Stream Shops for a reason, being that DSG leased the name Field & Stream from the magazine's ownership company about 15 years ago when it was "branding" items through licensing agreements to make money since the publishing industry was starting to go over the cliff.
Shortly after, they either bought it outright with the addendum of "Shops" to distingush from the publication or they leased it long-term, with the same agreement. There is no association between the stores and magazine other than the name, which was licensed just as Mossy Oak might license a camo pattern for mugs or coolers.
But the public sees the name thinks "Oh, good. Reliability! Outdoorsy!" and it's a comfort thing.
In reality, Dicks Sporting Goods only cares about one thing -- making money -- whether it's at DSG or Field & Stream Shops, and if that means removing the "evil black guns" and ammo while paying D.C. lobbyists to fight against the 2nd Amendment, that's what they'll do. Because that's what DSG did. It was proven and they admitted it.
So, phuck DSG. I'll go without before buying in there or their outdoors sideline.
