Hugh Freeze and Liberty beat Virginia Tech yesterday which is pretty remarkable. He's a slam dunk hire if you can keep him away from hookers and boosters. Who opens the checkbook for him? A few possible options:
- Tennessee (still paying their last 2 coaches)
- Auburn (can't afford to fire Gus)
- Texas (not sure why anybody would want to go their with their lopsided expectations)
- South Carolina (can you really play championship football at SC?)
All would be smart to hire him. Where does he end up?

I didn't realize until recently Freeze was the real life Blind Side coach in HS for Oher. Yeah, there was a lot of speculation that he got hired by OM in return for helping to steer Oher there.

I had a cousin that played football at BCS and went on to be a punter for UT in the mid/late-90's. He would have been at BCS somewhere around the early/mid-90's

I had my doubts about Freeze because I wasn't sure about the winning he was doing at Ole Miss being because of the rampant cheating and renting players that was going on being the reason they won,but I doubt this is happening on an SEC level at Liberty. He must know what he is doing. He'll be back in the SEC before long somewhere.
Once O has plateaued and reached resolution, he'd be tough at LSU.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I just don't see all the hype about Freeze and how any and all colleges want him as head coach just because he has had 2 somewhat successful years at Liberty of all places. he did a decent job at Ole Miss in the day but not sure if it was legal or ethical but not good enough in my opinion to have a dozen colleges wanting his services.
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
