That is true but if we stay in state we don’t have to pay non resident prices
Many states have a 3 or 5 day non resident licence option so you don't have to pay full price.
Unless it's a high fence operation, all Alabama outfitters have to run as many hunters as they can every week of the season to stay in business. A lot of them haven't been able to stay open in recent years and have shut down. The pressure on the land is far more than most hunting clubs which suppresses deer activity. I was on a hunt last season at a well known outfitter last February. There were about two dozen people in our group. In three days, only two does were shot and most hunters were watching empty green fields. I did the most shooting...I killed two bobcats.
