Big doe down at 4:30 for 2 new hunters! She was 125# on the nose, and little man put it right on the point of the shoulder and clipped her heart. She bulldozed across the field but didn’t make it 20yards. Lots of high fives and hollering going on in Bibb county this afternoon! My 2 new hunters are a father and son who have never been deer hunting. the hurricane in Panama City destroyed their home and most everything they had, and they moved here about a year ago. Good folks who have had a rough row to hoe for a while, little man and my son are friends and about a month ago he asked if I could take him hunting. They came up to camp last weekend and we rode around the woods and shot the scoped .22. He did great with it.
