Got a buddy wanting to buy/ get some pieces of sugar cane so he can grow some in the garden. Anyone have any or have any leads on where to get some?

Good chewing cane is getting real hard to find. I been looking for some since last year. No one grows it much anymore.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

He only looking for 5 stalks to get started. He is happy to pay fair price. Marsh if you or top cat come across some he can grow, I will make sure you get some to chew on!

They used to grow a bunch on Sand Mountain and make sorghum every year.

There is a couple in south Mississippi that grows it. They have a YouTube channel called Old South Homestead, his name is Danny. They probably have a FB and Instagram account.

I saw a big ole patch behind a house on 41 by the Repton exit this morning. I’m going over there Saturday morning to see if he will sell me some. It’s the tall thick sugar cane like they used to grow back home.

There’s a friend here in Greensboro that grows it and they have a Surp mill I will contact him after a while and see what I can do 🤔
